The foundation is a nonprofit entity, acts independent, and supports small size projects. Focus areas are in the field of education, well being and increasing the living standards of the younger generation.

Most donations by the de Beer Foundation are to small base project charity initiatives, driven by local connections, based on a reference model/ network. In general the duration of the projects that we support are between 2-10+ years.

The small size foundation doesn't rely on individual donations. Should this however occur, the donations to the Foundation will be treated according to the ANBI rules of the Netherlands.

The de Beer Foundation and its board members  are from the Netherlands and has its domicile in Amsterdam.
